Terms of condition

• All items posted are to be given free to parishes needing it and must be legally owned, accurately described and appropriate for all ages. For example
  1. No alcohol, tobacco, firearms or other weapons, profanity or sexual content, medications (of any kind, including over-the-counter supplements, vitamins, etc.);
  2. ​Never send money for anything offered on this platform
  3. ​All copyrighted material must be the original media;
  4. ​No resale of items and items must be for the purpose intended
  5. ​For Church use only and not personal use

Wanted Posts are to be used very occasionally. We encourage more parishes to offer than list

There should be no posting related to politics, spam, scams money transfer, personal attacks or rudeness. Objectionable content or behaviour will not be tolerated.

Please report immediately to admin, if you see any item as inappropriate, suspicious or just dodgy.

Admin reserves the right to suspend, terminate an account if there is gross misconduct. A warning may be issued as well for lesser offences.

All items are to be given free and no swapping or trading of items. No economic gain should be derived from the exchanges

Be courteous when arranging to collect items. Please ensure you can accommodate collection requests in terms of timing and be punctual. So, we expect you show up when you agreed or give sufficient notice if things change. The giver will always expect you collect the item asap. If you do not envisage to collect an item for a long period of time, please do not indicate interest.

We advise you wait till you get a handful of responses or a couple of days before you select who you give the item to. Consider giving to parishes who show immediate need and as led by the Holy Spirit. Only give your contact details to one person at a time or ask for the receiver’s phone number instead.

You may choose to verify the parish and the pastor before offering an item.

For members to gain maximum benefit from any exchanged equipment, we encourage only fully functional items to be posted. However, if there is a low-level repair needed to reinstate equipment, please give estimated costs in the description. In exceptional circumstances, you may list a part functional Equipment if repair costs is less than that of the current economic value (an engineer’s report should be attached)
